I was almost certain that Kris Kristofferson wrote this (and performed and recorded it many times). I have always previously heard it arranged as "country", but this version of yours is quite different and darned good, in my opinion. It took me a minute to get used to the idea that you had .... I dunno what genre you would call your arrangement ... but once I did, I loved it! I am a huge Kristofferson fan, but I have to tell you that poor old Kris didn;t sing it as well as you do! :-)  |
