Swimming Lessons.MPG

Caleb's been taking swimming lessons at the Y this month and LOVES it. He seems to have no fear of the water and loves to jump right in. This is a pretty good sample of what he's doing now.

Seth and the 3 Little Piggies.MPG

Xiao Li bought 3 piglets during our visit. They kept Seth entertained for hours. I was surprised when I played the movie back to hear Seth tell the pigs that he didn't have anymore corn in both Chinese and the local dialect. He learned a lot of the local language while we were there. He used phrases accurately that I hadn't even picked up on the meaning yet. Its amazing what a two year old mind can soak up in a few days!

Village Bath.MPG

Seth and I went to Xiao Li's village during the October break. Seth had the best time wandering around the village checking out the animals and wandering in the crops. By the third day he was filthy, so I was excited when Xiao Li suggested we could give him a bath in the washbin that was usually for dirty clothes. This is a video of Seth's bath time. He had a blast!

Playing together.flv

This is from early March, an afternoon of the boys playing in the house. They were playing together really well so I got out the video camera...just before the game got rough. :) So here are two brothers playing together as gently as they could before the wrestling and eventual crying started. :)

Bath Time Frogs.flv

This video is so typical of the boys' personalities that I couldn't resist sharing it (nobody tell Seth about the nudity in 10 years)! :) Here's Caleb singing and being his usual dramatic and center of attention self. Seth is in the background quietly stirring up trouble, but giving that sweet smile so that no one gets on to him. Gives you a good glance at what the boys are like these days. :)
