Younha
made her debut as an artist at the young age of sixteen. Nicknamed the "Oricon comet" for her success in Japan, she has currently released eight singles and two albums in that country with varying degrees of success. Also, many of her songs have been featured in anime/dramas. Although she is often compared to BoA, another Korean singer active in Japan, there are significant differences in their musical style and performance.
Younha is signed to Epic Records, owned by Sony Music Japan. Her Korean agency is Stam Entertainment.
Shortly after her Korean debut with "Audition", Younha released her first Korean album called "The Perfect Day to Say I Love You" on March 15, 2007.

On June 28, 2007, a special edition of her first album titled "Younha Vol.1 Repackage Album - The Perfect Day to Say I Love You" was released. This edition comes with a photo book and the inclusion of three new tracks, one of which is a Korean version of her 2005 single My Lover.
